Temescal Neighbors Purpose Statement

Temescal Neighbors is the Neighborhood Crime Prevention Council (NCPC) for Police Beat 12X, Area 2, (a.k.a. Temescal).   We are a volunteer organization working closely with City of Oakland officials and departments on projects to make the Temescal Neighborhood a safer and better place to live and work. Such projects include crime prevention, wildfire safety, emergency preparedness and response, beautification, and other projects that promote community betterment.

For information about NCPCs, visit: Oakland Neighborhood Services.

Temescal Neighbors NCPC is restricted to those who reside, study and work in the Temescal Neighborhood (a.k.a. OPD Beat 12X, Area 2) as defined in the map below.
